For your safe and quality training in diving and first aid, we as POPEYE DIVING CENTER have ensured to cooperate and follow the standards followed by the most well-known and reliable diving and first aid organizations worldwide, such as ANDI, SSI, IANTD and DAN. This results in you being trained in a proper and professional way to properly prepare you to become a diver, but also to be able to apply first aid. Below are a few words about each organization we work with, as well as diagrams from their training programs. ANDI - American Nitrox Divers International
ANDI International (ANDI) is one of the world’s fastest growing diver training agencies. ANDI began by specializing in training programs for Enriched Air Nitrox ( SafeAir ) diving. As a natural evolution from SafeAir®, ANDI developed training programs for what has now become known as Technical diving and Closed Circuit Rebreather systems. To meet the demands of our international network of training facilities, in 1999 ANDI introduced a unique methodology for training entry-level divers with the ANDI Open Water Sport Diver program.
Since our origin in 1988, ANDI has expanded throughout the world with Regional Headquarters located in the United Kingdom, Israel, Australia, Sweden, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Greece, Japan, Taiwan, Republic of Korea, Republic of Maldives, Republic of Philippines, Latin America, Middle East and the home office in the United States of America. To meet the needs of these regional markets ANDI developed educational material in many languages in addition to English.
ANDI has developed a multifaceted training system with comprehensive programs. These include Openwater Sport Diver, Dive Medic, SafeAir® User courses, Technical and Exploration programs, Rebreather training for SCR and CCR systems, specialty-focused training and a full offering of technician and instructor programs. ANDI’s growth throughout the world is due to ANDI’s commitment to quality education, quality training materials, the highest operational standards and a dedication to customer service.

SSI - Scuba Schools International
For more than 40 years SSI has provided training, education and certification for divers, diving instructors, diving centers and resorts around the world. Launched in 1970, SSI has expanded to include more than 30 Service Centers, is represented in more than 110 countries with over 2,500 locations worldwide, and has books and materials printed in more than 30 languages, including DVDs, CDs, etc.
SSI is clearly the name you trust in the world of diving, and we attribute that success is due to compromises, specifications and training methodology !!

IANTD - International Association of Nitrox & Technical Diver
It was founded in 1985 by Dick Rutkowski as IAND. It is the first diving organization to provide training and certification in the use of alternative gas mixtures. In 1992 its name was upgraded to IANTD to cover the expanded scope of its activities. It is now recognized as the “beginning” in the use of alternative mixtures of amateur and scientific diving and is one of the most important and oldest diving organizations in the world.
