The ANDI Technicxal SafeAir Diver course is the starting point for technical diving, and the basis for all higher level technical training. From this point the recreational configuration is replaced by a full technical configuration. The best option before embarking this course is to take the Fundamental Technical System course from ANDI, but it is not a requirement. The TSD course uses SafeAir mixes (EAN) and a decompression gas during the dives. Many topics are discussed in depth like configuration, decompression theory, equipment for technical diving and much more. The Technical SafeAir Diver training certifies for diving to 40 meters with maximum 30 minutes of in-water decompression.

- Min credit depth 21m
- Max course depth 38m
- Certification depth 40m
To participte in the course you need:
- Be an Advanced Open Water diver
- Be a SafeAir Diver or equivalent
- At least 50 logged dives
- Be at least 18 years old
- Medical certificate of diving ability
